Though I didn't make the reunion, it was fun to see photos of old friends. I LOVE this time of life. Sure, there are a few more aches and pains, but some of the foolishness of youth has
vanished, and the simple things of life are enough. God, friends the garden, and something to do with my hands.
Sheila and I, have been doing the vacation rental thing on a house I remodelled (radically) working for the last 5 years. Check it out at www.santafehobbithouse.com She has been a wonderful wife and super mom all these years. Can't say we didn't have a few rough spots, but making it through them seemed to draw us closer.
The 3 kids (you know you are getting old when your oldest kid is
twice your age when you graduated WRHS) are doing great, and like
Dale K. the grandkids, who live here in Santa Fe, are a huge delight. I'm a prison preacher, and short term missionary for
the causes of Jesus. Been all over the world. He is my first love.
I think it is cool what the reunion committee has done to put this all together. Enjoyed the booklet. Hoping to make the 50th, but you never know, do you?
