After graduating from CU Boulder with a degree in engineering in 1968, it was off to California and several years working for a defense/aerospace contractor in L.A. Then back to Colorado for a couple of more years working for what is now Lockheed Martin. A short sabbatical to Florida in late 1973 and then back to Denver. I have been here ever since. I changed engineering fields and began working as a mechanical consulting engineer. I have been working in Lakewood the last 27 years at the same engineering company. I married Betsy in 1977 and we have lived in the Columbine area since 1981. One daughter, Laura, who graduated from Arizona State in 2006 and she remains in Arizona working with a wedding planned for this fall. I haven’t retired yet, but am beginning to cut back the hours this year and want to start spending more time in Arizona, particularly in the winter, and more time traveling. Hobbies have included skiing, backpacking, camping, and some golf (hacking is a better term for me).
