After graduating from WRHS in 1963, I started at the Colorado School of Mines in the fall. In the summer of 1964, Kathryn B. King (WRHS '62) and I got married in Wheat Ridge. I graduated from Mines in 1967 in Metallurgical Engineering. We lived in various places around the country while I worked in smokestack America in the steel, cement, and mining industries. In 1996, I couldn't take anymore of the general incompetence in business and retired. Best decision I ever made in my career. Kathryn and I will celebrate 46 years of marriage in 2010. We have a son, 41, and a daughter, 39. We have three grandsons to spoil. Our health is great and we thoroughly enjoy doing whatever we want. I wish the best for all of my classmates.
