Am Colorado native. Have lived only 3 years outside of CO. I have a BFA in Art & Ed from DU, MA in Art & Ed from UNM, & MA in Computer in Ed from Leslie College. Was a state semi-finalist in the Teacher in Space program. Taught junior & sr. high art for 31 years. I had 1st teaching job in Anchorage, AK for 2 yrs. and the rest was in Boulder. I retired from teaching early to become a caregiver to my mother and her husband for 4 yrs. Now, really retired since 2003. Since then I have been doing lots of traveling. Recent international travels: Antarctica, Falklands Is., S. Georgia Is., Easter Is., Galapagos Is., Peru, Bonaire (SCUBA), & Ukraine. In the past have been to China, Europe, Africa and Japan. Bought small RV and have been driving all over the west, mid-west, n. east, and Canada. I live with my dog Bandit, a Welsh Corgi. She is also a great traveler. I am a photographer, wood carver, and clay sculptor. I also compete with my masks and costumes. I, also, collect dragons and am into genealogy.
