I met my husband, Jerre, at C.S.U. After he graduated from D.U. Law School, we were off with the Navy to Virginia and Japan. In 1975 we returned to Denver where he has maintained his law practice ever since. With our three children in school I went back to graduate school and got my Masters degree from Denver Seminary and enjoyed my counseling practice for many years. But when twin grandsons and another granddaughter were born here in Denver within six months of each other, I decided that I would rather be holding grandbabies, so I retired from my counseling practice in 2003 to enjoy our family. I haven't had time to regret it a bit. Since our four grandkids have gotten a little older we have enjoyed cruises to Alaska and South American and trips to Europe. We spent 12 summers at our home in the mountains.
Ann Gallaher Benson ('62) and I have remained close since we've been in the same Bible Study group for the past twenty years. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone. Isn't it nice that we've all grown old together?
