After graduation I attended the University of Colorado in Boulder and joined the Colorado Army National Guard. I married Marilyn Willette in 1967. We were married 29 years and had 2 sons. The oldest, Jim, works in the computer industry. The youngest died in an auto accident.

I received a bachelor of arts degree in 1969 with a major in zoology. I went to work for Department of Defense in March, 1972. I retired from the COARNG and DoD in 1998.

I moved to Johnstown from Evergreen in 1997. In 2002 I married a wonderful woman. She is a 1970 Northglenn High School graduate. Sharon earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Regis University and works as a CPA in Fort Collins. She has two children from her first marriage and we have three grandchildren who add much delight to our life.

I enjoy traveling, scuba diving and playing golf.
