I imagine many of us feel as if it was only yesterday we left WRHS to start on our journey. I completed 2 years at CSU and then married Clark (42 years), had our daughter Adrienne, and went to work. And I've been working ever since -- nightclubs, hotels, retail and finally our own business. Clark and I have managed to combine working together and marriage for the last 26 years with only a few bumps along the way. We've gone from a graphic design and typesetting business to a graphic design and digital printing business with all the changes technology brings us year to year. I keep telling myself that continually having to reinvent our business and learn new software keeps us young (and financially challenged).

Twenty years or so ago, I became slightly obsessed with gardening. I even turned it into a part-time business of designing, planting and maintaining gardens. I became a Master Gardener 12 years ago and began to understand how much I didn't know. I've continued with this obsession although the older I become the less I enjoy the hot, dry summers we've been experiencing these past few years. By the end July I'm looking forward to fall -- Clark says that's because I don't have to deal with the snow.

We have two young grandchildren (3 years and 4 months) and I take every opportunity I can to spend time with them. All in all, we have a great life with many friends and good health. Although I only moved from Mountain View to Lakewood, I still feel I've come a long way and had many blessings for which to be thankful. I look forward to our reunion this summer and hope to see you there.
